Scientific American has a great slideshow of ‘Spacecraft from Decades Past That Are Still Ticking.’ These spacecraft are marvels of engineering for far outlasting their intended lifespans.
That’s the space adventure that I’m looking for - the Star Trek era - hot outfits, great hair, bizarre makeup, monsters with unbelievable tentacles, and control deck drama. All from inside of what looks like a tin can on strings against a black plastic sheet, and shot on super8.
